42Information about complaints for community patients
In section 132A of the Mental Health Act 1983 (duty of managers of hospitals to give information to community patients), in subsection (1)—
(a)
omit the “and” at the end of paragraph (a);
(b)
“(c)
how to exercise any right the patient has to make complaints about—
(i)
the carrying out of functions under this Act;
(ii)
any medical treatment for mental disorder received while the patient is a community patient;
(iii)
the outcome of any complaint referred to in sub-paragraph (ii);”;
(c)
at the end insert “and again as soon as practicable after any report is furnished under section 20A in respect of the patient”
.
