68Upper age limit for jury service to be 75
(1)
The Juries Act 1974 is amended as follows.

In section 1(1)(a) (qualification for jury service), for the words from “and” to the end substitute “
.
and aged eighteen or over but under seventy six
”
(3)
“—
(a)
aged under eighteen, or
(b)
aged seventy six or over”.
