Regulation 17 (lump sum on retirement)6 is amended as follows.

In paragraph (1), for “16”, substitute “16A”.

In paragraph (7)—

(a)

for “16 applies (early retirement pension with actuarial reduction)”, substitute “16 (early retirement pension with actuarial reduction) or regulation 16A (partial retirement pension) applies”; and

(b)

in sub-paragraph (a), after “regulation 16(2)”, insert “or regulation 16A(5)(b);”.
