Transitional provisions17.

(1)

This regulation applies in respect of a person (P) who—

(a)

immediately before the coming into operation of regulation 10(2) or 10(4) of these Regulations was remaining in isolation in accordance with the principal Regulations, but

(b)

if P had arrived immediately after the coming into operation of regulation 10(2) or (4), P would not, by virtue only of the amendments made by regulation 10(2) or (4), be required to enter into isolation.

(2)

P is not required to enter into or remain in isolation by virtue only of the principal Regulations as they were in force immediately before the coming into operation of regulation 10(2) or (4).
