Youth justice

Amendment to section 10 of the Criminal Justice Act (Northern Ireland) 201399

(1)

Section 10 of the Criminal Justice Act (Northern Ireland) 2013 (release on licence of child convicted of serious offence) is amended as follows.

(2)

Omit subsection (5).

(3)

For subsection (6) substitute—

“(6)

Subsection (7) applies where—

(a)

on commencement a person is detained in pursuance of a sentence under Article 45(2) of the 1998 Order, and

(b)

that person is a person whose licence has been revoked under Article 46(2) of the 1998 Order.”.
