PART 5CRIMINAL RECORDS

Applications for enhanced criminal record certificates43

In section 113B of the Police Act 1997 (enhanced criminal record certificates) in subsection (2) for paragraph (b) substitute—

“(b)

be accompanied by—

(i)

a statement by the registered person that the certificate is required for the purposes of an exempted question asked for a prescribed purpose; or

(ii)

a statement by the applicant that the certificate is required for a prescribed purpose.”.
