Explanatory note

Payments by Director General6.

If the Director of the Serious Fraud Office performs a task in accordance with a direction under section 5(5)(c) of the Act, the Director General must pay to the Director of the Serious Fraud Office—

(a)

such amount as may be agreed between the Director General and the Director of the Serious Fraud Office, or

(b)

in the absence of their agreement, such amount as may be agreed between the Secretary of State and the Attorney General.
