Legislation – The Pensions (Abolition of Lifetime Allowance Charge etc) (No. 2) Regulations 2024

In the Registered Pension Schemes (Notice of Joint Liability for the Annual Allowance Charge) Regulations 201163, in regulation 2 (particulars to be included in the notice), for paragraph (3) substitute—

“(3)

Where—

(a)

the notice is given to the scheme administrator in the relevant tax year64, and

(b)

it is anticipated that, at a later date in the relevant tax year, the individual will become entitled to all of the benefits under the pension scheme to which the notice relates,

the individual must state that date in the notice.”.
