Explanatory note

Amendment to regulation 23.

In paragraph (1) of regulation 2 (interpretation), after the entry for “exempt country or territory” insert—

““G7 event” means—

(a)

an event organised by Her Majesty’s Government in connection with the United Kingdom’s G7 2021 presidency;

(b)

a meeting, connected to an event within the meaning of sub-paragraph (a), between representatives of States, foreign territories or organisations which are represented at such an event;”.
