45Public sector duty regarding socio-economic inequalities
(1)
The Equality Act 2010 is amended as follows.

“(aa)
in the case of a duty imposed on an authority in relation to devolved Welsh functions, guidance issued by the Welsh Ministers;”.
(3)
In section 2 (power to amend section 1) omit subsections (7), (9) and (10).
(4)
Section 216 (commencement) is amended as follows.

The following provisions of Part 1 come into force on such day as the Welsh Ministers may by order appoint—
(a)
section 1, so far as it applies to a relevant authority as defined by section 2(6);
(b)
section 2, so far as it confers a power on the Welsh Ministers;
(c)
section 3, for the purposes of section 1 to the extent mentioned in paragraph (a).
(7)
Section 209 does not apply to an order under subsection (6).”
