Immobilisation of vehicles in London
(1)
Sections 104 and 105 of this Act shall extend throughout Greater London if the Secretary of State makes an order to that effect.
(2)
If such an order is made, section 106 of this Act shall cease to apply in relation to Greater London when the order comes into force.
(3)
“(7A)
Before making an order under this section at the request of the Traffic Director for London, the Secretary of State shall consult the appropriate local authority.”
(4)
The power of the Secretary of State\ to make an order under this section shall be exercisable by statutory instrument which shall be subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.
