Explanatory note

Amendment to regulation 4412.

(1)

Regulation 44 (requirement to ensure that certain passengers arrive only at designated ports) is amended as follows.

(2)

The current regulation 44 becomes regulation 44(1).

(3)

After paragraph (1) insert—

“(2)

This regulation does not apply in relation to a passenger to whom schedule 5A applies who is in possession of the written confirmation described in paragraph 1(4)(b) or (8)(d) of that schedule.”.
