PART 1Introductory
Citation, commencement, extent, application and interpretation1.
(1)
These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Charges, Primary Medical Services and Pharmaceutical and Local Pharmaceutical Services) (Coronavirus) (Further Amendments) Regulations 2021.
(2)
As regards the commencement of these Regulations—
(a)
this regulation and regulations 2, 6, 7 and 9 to 24 come into force on the twenty-first day after the day on which these Regulations are laid before Parliament; and
(b)
regulations 3 to 5 and 8 come into force on 1st January 2022.

These Regulations extend to England and Wales and apply in relation to England only2.
(4)
In these Regulations—
“the Charges Regulations” means the National Health Service (Charges for Drugs and Appliances) Regulations 20153;
“the GMS Regulations” means the National Health Service (General Medical Services Contracts) Regulations 20154;
“the PLPS Regulations” means the National Health Service (Pharmaceutical and Local Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 20135; and
“the PMS Regulations” the National Health Service (Personal Medical Services Agreements) Regulations 20156.
