Tier 1 restrictions3.

(1)

Tier 1 restrictions apply in relation to the Tier 1 area in accordance with Schedule 1.

(2)

In these Regulations—

(a)

references to “Tier 1 restrictions” are references to the restrictions and requirements set out in Schedule 1;

(b)

references to the “Tier 1 area” are references to every area of England (including the territorial waters adjacent to England and the airspace above England and those territorial waters) other than the excluded area.

(3)

The excluded area for the purposes of paragraph (2)(b) is the area for the time being specified or described in Schedule 2.
