Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Act 2006 (c. 30)

(1)
The Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Act 2006 is amended as follows.

In Schedule 2 (persons whose functions are subject to review under section 3), under the sub-heading “Education and training”—
(a)
for “The Higher Education Funding Council for Wales” substitute “The Commission for Tertiary Education and Research”
;
(b)
for “an institution in Wales falling within section 91(5)(a) of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 (c. 13)” substitute “a tertiary education provider (other than one mentioned elsewhere in this Schedule) that is registered in a category specified in regulations made for the purposes of section 88 or 105 of the Tertiary Education and Research (Wales) Act 2022”

In Schedule 3 (persons whose arrangements are subject to review under section 5), under the sub-heading “Education and training”, for “an institution in Wales falling within section 91(5)(a) of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 (c. 13)” substitute “a tertiary education provider (other than one mentioned elsewhere in this Schedule) that is registered in a category specified in regulations made for the purposes of section 88 or 105 of the Tertiary Education and Research (Wales) Act 2022”
