PART 2PROVISIONS COMING INTO FORCE ON 1 AUGUST 2024
Provisions coming into force on 1 August 2024 subject to transitional provisions13.
(1)
Paragraph 14(27) of Schedule 4 to the Act comes into force on 1 August 2024 subject to the transitional provision set out in paragraph (2).
(2)
In relation to a disposal of land in Wales by trustees before 1 August 2024 to which section 144 of the Learning and Skills Act 200011 applies—
(a)
section 144(4A) of that Act has effect as if for paragraph (b) there were substituted the following paragraph—
“(b)
in the case of land in Wales, the Welsh Ministers.”,
and
(b)
section 144(9) of that Act has effect as if for paragraph (b) there were substituted the following paragraph—
“(b)
the Welsh Ministers, in respect of land in Wales.”
