EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends the Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act 2018 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2021, the Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act 2018 (Commencement No. 3 and Transitional and Saving Provisions) Order 2021 and the Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act 2018 (Commencement No. 4 and Transitional and Saving Provisions) Order 2021 (“the Commencement Orders”) which bring into force provisions of the Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act 2018 (“the Act”).

The Commencement Orders are amended so that section 16 of the Act (amendments to the Social Service and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014) comes into force fully on 1 September 2021, and paragraph 24(4) of the Schedule to the Act comes into force fully on 22 June 2021.
