Continuity of designation10.

(1)

A person who on the coming into force of these Regulations is designated by the Secretary of State or a local authority for the purposes of regulation 9(3)(b) of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No.2) (England) Regulations 20207 is to be treated as if they were designated by the Secretary of State under regulation 8(2) of these Regulations.

A person who on the coming into force of these Regulations is designated by the Secretary of State for the purposes of regulation 10 of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No.2) (England) Regulations 2020 is to be treated as if they were designated by the Secretary of State under regulation 9 of these Regulations.
