Coming into force
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of powers conferred by sections 1(1) and 189(1), (4) and (6) of the Social Security Administration Act 19921 and section 42(1) to (3) of, and paragraph 4(1) and (6) of Schedule 1 to, the Welfare Reform Act 20122.

In accordance with section 173(1)(a) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992, it appears to the Secretary of State that by reason of the urgency of this matter it is inexpedient to refer the proposals in respect of these Regulations to the Social Security Advisory Committee.
