PART 2PROVISIONS COMING INTO FORCE ON 1 AUGUST 2024

Provisions coming into force on 1 August 2024 subject to transitional provisions11.

(1)

Paragraph 12(2)(a)(i) of Schedule 4 to the Act comes into force on 1 August 2024 subject to the transitional provision set out in paragraph (2).

(2)

In relation to a study being undertaken immediately before 1 August 2024 by the Auditor General for Wales under section 145B(1) of the Government of Wales Act 199810, where the requesting body for the study is HEFCW, that study is on and after 1 August 2024 to be treated, for the purposes of that section and section 145B(3) of the Government of Wales Act 1998, as having been requested by the Commission.
