Consequential amendments9.

(1)

In the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (Transfer of Police and Crime Commissioner Functions to the Mayor) Order 201710, in Schedule 2 (exclusion of legislation from application to the combined authority mayor with policing and crime functions) omit paragraphs 34 and 38.

(2)

In the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (Election of Mayor and Functions) Order 202111, in Schedule 6 (exclusion of legislation from application to the combined authority mayor with policing and crime functions) omit paragraphs 34 and 38.

(3)

In the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority Order 202312, in Schedule 6 (exclusion of legislation from application to the Combined Authority Mayor with policing and crime functions) omit paragraph 34.

Revocations and savings10.

(1)

Subject to paragraph (2)—

(a)

the Police and Crime Commissioner Elections (Local Returning Officers’ and Police Area Returning Officers’ Charges) Order 202113 is revoked;

(b)

omit articles 1 and 4 of the Police and Crime Commissioner Elections (Designations etc.) (Amendment) Order 202214.

(2)

The Order revoked by paragraph (1)(a) and the articles omitted by paragraph (1)(b) continue to have effect in respect of any election for which the date of poll, as specified in the notice of election published in accordance with rule 4 in Part 1 of Schedule 3 to the Police and Crime Commissioner Elections Order 2012, is on or before 1st May 2024.
