Amendment of Regulation (EU) No 1305/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council

1. (1)

Regulation (EU) No 1305/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December 2013 on support for rural development by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 1698/200542 is amended as follows.

In Article 2 (definitions), in paragraph 1, in point (f) (definition of “agricultural area”), for “Article 4 of Regulation (EU) No 1307/2013” substitute “Article 2(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1306/2013”.

(3)

In Article 8 (content of rural development programmes), in paragraph 1(h)(i), for the words “the appropriations provided” to the end substitute “the appropriations provided to the less developed regions”.

In Article 15 (advisory services, farm management and farm relief services), for paragraph 4(b) substitute—

“(b)

where applicable, the maintenance of the agricultural area as referred to in point (c) of Article 2(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1306/2013;”.
