Amendment of Schedule 1017.

(1)

Schedule 10 (optional testing after arrival in England) is amended as follows.

In paragraph 4 (required circumstances for undertaking testing)—

(a)

omit sub-paragraph (ba) M1;

(b)

in sub-paragraph (c)—

(i)

in the opening words, omit “or (ba)”;

(ii)

in paragraph (i), omit “and (ba)”.

(3)

In paragraph 5 (notification of test results)—

(a)

in the opening words of sub-paragraph (2), for “within 24 hours of the result becoming available” substitute
within 48 hours of the time when the sample taken for the purposes of the test is received by the diagnostic laboratory

(b)

in sub-paragraph (6), omit paragraph (ba).
