Citation, commencement, extent and application1.

(1)

These Regulations may be cited as the Representation of the People (Proxy Vote Applications) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021 and come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.

(2)

Amendments made by these Regulations have the same extent and application as the instruments they are amending, except for—

(a)

regulation 3, which does not apply in relation to a local government election in Wales, and

(b)

regulation 4, which does not apply in relation to a local government election in Scotland.
