Amendments to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel and Operator Liability) (England) Regulations 20212.

Paragraph 44 of Schedule 4 to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel and Operator Liability) (England) Regulations 20212 is amended as follows.

In sub-paragraph (4)—

(a)

in paragraphs (a)(iii), (b)(iii) and (c)(iii)—

(i)

for “or international elite sportspersons” substitute “, international elite sportspersons or other participants”;

(ii)

after “involved in the specified competition” insert—

“, or other individuals essential to the support of a sportsperson participating in that elite sports event”;

(b)

in paragraphs (d)(iii) and (e)(iii)—

(i)

for “or domestic elite sportspersons” substitute “, domestic elite sportspersons or other participants”;

(ii)

after “involved in the specified competition” insert—

“, or other individuals essential to the support of a sportsperson participating in the specified competition”.
