Interpretation of Chapter 27.

In this Chapter—

“the 1983 Act” and “relevant by-election” have the same meanings as in Chapter 1;

“the 2020 Act” means the Coronavirus Act 2020;

“candidate” has the meaning given by section 118A of the 1983 Act17.
