Amendment to the Education (Pupil Registration) (England) Regulations 20062.

(1)

The Education (Pupil Registration) (England) Regulations 20062 are amended as follows.

In regulation 6(1) (contents of attendance register), at the beginning insert “Subject to regulation 6A,”.

(3)

After regulation 6 insert—

“Temporary Suspension of Attendance Register Requirements6A.

Any obligation to record particulars in accordance with regulation 6 (contents of attendance register) does not apply from 1st June 2020 until the end of the 2019-20 school year3 .”.
