Amendment of the International Travel Regulations3.
(1)
The International Travel Regulations are amended as follows.
(2)
“(10A)
Paragraph (10) does not apply in relation to a person who has, at any time in the period beginning with the 10th day before the date of their arrival in England, departed from or transited through a country or territory listed in Schedule B1.”.
(3)
In regulation 4 (requirement to self-isolate)—
(a)
“, or
(c)
is residing with another person (“B”), and B has arrived in England from a country or territory listed in Schedule B1 or has, within the period beginning with the 10th day before the date of B’s arrival in England, departed from or transited through a country or territory listed in Schedule B1”;
(b)
in paragraph (3)—
(i)
in sub-paragraph (a), for “or (c)” substitute “, (c) or (d)”;
(ii)
“, or
(d)
where P is a person described in paragraph (1)(c) (residing with another person, “B”), at the address at which P is residing with B”;
(c)
“(7A)
Where P is a person described in paragraph (1)(c) (residing with another person, “B”), P must self-isolate until the end of the period during which B is required to self-isolate.”;
(d)
“(14)
Paragraphs (13) and (13A) do not apply in relation to—
(a)
a person who has, at any time in the period beginning with the 10th day before the date of their arrival in England, departed from or transited through a country or territory listed in Schedule B1, or
(b)
a person residing with a person described in sub-paragraph (a).”.
