Section 19 of the Magistrates’ Courts Act 1980 (decision as to allocation) M1 is amended as follows.

Amendment of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 199423.

(1)

Section 25 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 (no bail for defendants charged with or convicted of homicide or rape after previous conviction of such offences) M2 is amended as follows.

In subsection (2), in the opening words, for “subsection (3)” substitute “
subsection (3A)
”.
