Schedule 2 confers—
(a)
powers to search persons liable to be detained under paragraph 16(2C) of Schedule 2 to the Immigration Act 1971 (illegal migrants), and to search vehicles, premises and property, for things on which certain information is or may be stored in electronic form;
(b)
powers to seize and retain such things, and to access, copy and use information stored on those things.
