The Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 is amended as follows.

In section 65(1), in the definition of “the terrorism provisions”, for “section 41” substitute “sections 41 and 43B”.

2 (1)

Schedule 1 to the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 is amended as follows.

In Part 1, after paragraph 69B insert—

The power of seizure conferred by section 43E(2) of the Terrorism Act 2000 (seizure on the occasion of a search necessary for purposes connected with protecting members of the public from a risk of terrorism).”

In section 1(1) of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008, after paragraph (bb) insert—
