Criminal Appeal Act 1968 (c. 19)

After section 30A of that Act insert—

“30BCriminal courts charge

The criminal courts charge duty (see section 46 of the Sentencing Code) applies to the Court of Appeal—

(a)

when dismissing an appeal under this Part of this Act by a person convicted of an offence against the person’s conviction or sentence for the offence;

(b)

when dismissing an application for leave to bring such an appeal.”
