Citation, commencement and interpretation1.
(1)
These Regulations may be cited as the Direct Payments to Farmers Single Application Amendment Date (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 and come into operation on the 31st May 2020.
(2)
The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 19542 shall apply to these Regulations as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.
(3)
In these Regulations, “claim year 2020” is to be interpreted in accordance with section 1(7) of the Direct Payments to Farmers (Legislative Continuity) Act 20203.
