EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 (“The principal Regulations”) —
(a)
Remove exemptions from the requirement to self-isolate for people who have arrived in Northern Ireland from Denmark or who have arrived in Northern Ireland from elsewhere and, during the 14 days preceding their arrival in Northern Ireland, have been in or transited through Denmark (“Denmark arrivals”).
(b)
Require people residing at the same address as Denmark arrivals to self-isolate.
No impact assessment has been prepared for these Regulations.
