Article 2 of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 is amended as follows.

In paragraph (2)—

(a)

omit the definition of “Board”;

(b)

in the definition of “pre-sentence report”, for “a Board or” substitute “an”.

(3)

In paragraph (3), for the words from “by which functions” to the end of the paragraph substitute “that is exercising social care and children functions within the meaning of Article 10A of the Health and Personal Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1991.”.
