Marking of entries on re-registration of birth on legitimation

(1)
Without prejudice to paragraph 2(4) and paragraph 4(5), where, after an entry in the registers of live-births or other records has been marked in accordance with paragraph 1 or 2, the birth is re-registered under Article 19 of the Births and Deaths Registration (Northern Ireland) Order 1976 (re-registration of births of legitimated persons), the entry made on the re-registration must be marked in the like manner.

Without prejudice to paragraph 4(9), where an entry in the register of live-births or other records is marked in pursuance of paragraph 3 and the birth in question is subsequently re-registered under Article 19 of that Order, the entry made on re-registration must be marked in the like manner.
