Section 23 (muirburn season) has effect as if—

(a)

in subsection (1), at the beginning, there were inserted “Subject to subsection (1A),”,

(b)

after subsection (1) there were inserted—

“(1A)

During the relevant period, a person may not make muirburn on land.

(1B)

In subsection (1A), the “relevant period” means the period in which paragraph 33 of schedule 7 of the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020 has effect.”.
