Section 4B (lawful examinations: further provision) has effect as if after subsection (3) there were inserted—

“(3A)

For the purposes of subsections (2) and (3), if the statutory period would otherwise expire during the period in which paragraph 21 of schedule 7 of the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020 has effect, the period expires instead on the day on which that paragraph ceases to have effect.”.
