In section 5 of the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986 (assessment of needs following notification of disabled persons leaving education)—

(a)

in subsection (1)(a), after “local authority” insert “in England”;

(b)

in subsection (2)—

(i)

in paragraph (a), after “local authority” insert “in England”;

(ii)

in paragraph (b), after “local authority” insert “in England”;

(c)

in subsection (9)—

(i)

in the definition of “prescribed”, after “made” insert “by the Secretary of State;”;

(ii)

in that definition, omit paragraphs (a) and (b);

(iii)

in the definition of “the responsible authority”, in paragraph (c) omit “or the National Assembly for Wales”;

(iv)

in that paragraph omit “or the National Assembly as the case may be”;

(d)

in subsection (10), omit “and Wales”;

(e)

in the heading, at the end insert “: England”.
