The appellant possessed a mobile phone while in prison, took photos and videos of his cell that he posted on social media. Following late guilty pleas, so reduced credit of 10%, he was sentenced to 10 months’ imprisonment for possession and 16 months concurrent for transmitting the images. The sentences were upheld.
